The Order
By entering into a contract to purchase our products, you authorise Salisa to perform the necessary credit checks and obtain information about you from third parties to ensure the transaction is “safe” – please refer to our Privacy Policy for more detail.
The contract between “you” and “us” means: (i) your order is only partially “accepted” once we have received payment in full for the goods that you have ordered; (ii) and that unless we notify you that we have cancelled your order or are unable to accept your order; our full “acceptance” of your order commences from the dispatch of the products ordered and initiates a legally binding contract between us.
If the goods you wish to order are out of stock, the “cart process” will advise you of this and you can either: (i) pay for the goods in advance, as this guarantees you will be first in line and have priority when the stock arrives and we will email you with an approximate date of stock arrival and when to stock arrives; (ii) or let us advise you once the goods are back in stock and pay for them when re-ordering online. The email address you have provided us will be the form of communication to update you re. stock availability. Please ensure you check your order is correct at the checkout stage and amend any errors. In cases of unforeseen circumstances dictated by our suppliers, we will not be held liable for stock changes, delays in shipments etc….. Therefore if we are unable to fulfill your advance purchase due to these circumstances, we will refund your credit/debit card within 30 days of us advising you by email. We will not be held responsible once the goods have been dispatched for any delays and are in the possession of the courier / Royal Mail etc….
If you wish to track your order, we can email you the tracking number which you can track via the couriers website.
You must email orders@salisa.co.uk within 48 hours of the delivery of goods if they are damaged, are the incorrect product or quantity otherwise we shall have no liability if this process is not strictly adhered to. Your order must be returned to Salisa within 7 days of the delivery of the goods otherwise we are happy to offer an exchange.
You must email orders@salisa.co.uk within 48 hours of the delivery of goods if they are unsuitable and we can either refund or exchange the. If you wish us to refund the balance to you, your order must be returned to Salisa within 7 days of the delivery of the goods otherwise we are happy to offer an exchange.
If your order has not been received within 7 days of the order date you must email orders@salisa.co.uk within 10 days of the order date otherwise we shall have no liability if this process is not strictly adhered to. You must contact the courier and advise us of all communication so we can determine how to take the matter forward. Where possible, always have emailed communication with the courier so we can assist you with this issue.

As some of our products are hand printed / hand finished - some items may have evidence of slight mismatched patterns / edges / authentic machine finishes; these are not faults but part of the authentic finish which makes each scarf individual. These will not be classed as faulty.
In certain circumstances, product maybe reserved due to a specific enquiry - but only for 48 hours from an original email request.
The Payment.
You can process your orders on our secure online process by Mastercard, Visa or Debit Card. We are more than happy to accommodate customers who wish to contact us and order by phone - please call (0191) 216 9551. You still must be registered on the Salisa website by opening an account whether you order on line or by phone so we can ask the appropriate security questions so that your order is “safe”.
You must be registered online with Salisa to be able to process any payment – as we do carry out regular daily validation checks as noted in our Privacy Policy.
We only deliver to the address where the cardholder is registered and reserve the right to delay your order if we have been informed by your credit card company of anything "unusal" or "adverse" - we will inform you of this.
If for whatever reason the issuer of your card refuses to authorize payment, we will not be able to process your order and therefore not be liable for any delay and non-delivery. We will email you to confirm this and you can contact us to see how we can progress with your order.
